Italy to ban kissing

Italy has already taken unprecedented measures in response to the coronavirus as it closed all schools and universities and prepared other emergency measures this week to try to slow the spread of the virus. The total number of dead in Italy rose to 107 after 28 people died of the highly contagious virus over the past 24 hours.

Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte's government released a decree yesterday which told the nation, among other restrictions, that the public should refrain from kissing anyone. In fact, the government is looking at instituting a ban on all kissing in the country as they look to get this virus under wraps.

They have also confirmed that all sporting events will take place without fans present for at least the next month due to the virus outbreak.
