Guys posing as rappers skip out on $100,000 worth of hotel bills.

A crew of Georgia thieves pretended to be rap stars, including members of the Wu-Tang Clan, scammed hotels out of more than $100,000.

The men would roll up to the hotels in a rented Rolls-Royce Phantom, they had procured with a stolen credit card and rack up huge bills at the hotels and then take off. One well-known hotel got duped for over $45,000 while the Hyatt Regency got taken for $39,000.

Walker Washington and Aaron Barnes-Burpo are the two men who have been charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and aggravated identity theft. They were the mastermind behind the scam that ended when another hotel worker called the record label to confirm their arrival. The men also hired two homeless men to act as bodyguards during their stays. They weren't charged with any crime.
