In the English village of Shepshed there is a road named ButtHole Lane in England and locals feel a huge sense of pride to tell people that is the street they live on. Despite some town leaders requesting a change of the name the locals have fought it. In fact according to realtors in the area people will pay a little more to make Butthole Lane their address.
It's also a huge tourist destination as visitors love to take pictures and post their experience on Butthole Lane.
The #ButtholeLane hashtag is now a big hit on social media.
According to the Leiceister Mercury, the word “butt” used to mean target, and the location was named in reference to its former function as the site for target practice.
