Alicia Silverstone has her own game plan when it comes to parenting. Rather than “reprimanding” her eight-year-old son Bear, she says “No, thank you.”
Speaking to “People,” Silverstone explains that she's building mutual “respect” between her and her son. When it’s time to “redirect and correct,” she just says “No thank you, Bear,” and he says, “okay.”
“Because of the healthy lifestyle that we lead, he didn’t go through terrible twos and threes,” she adds. “When you’re really meeting their needs, and you really understand what they want and need… I didn’t find any of that.”
