School creates no dating policy. Some parents are furious

here's a dating ban for fifth graders at one southern Indiana school.

The new policy at Riverside Elementary School in Jeffersonville says kids in fifth grade are dating and breaking-up too much causing too many broken hearts. Of course, those broken hearts cause lots of distraction. The school sent parents a note this week that says kids must end any relationships they have.

Some parents are upset that the school is trying to police what happens between boys and girls. The school district isn't commenting on the policy.

Some parents are not thrilled and are pushing back saying it’s not the school’s business. Some parents will not be signing the paper.
