Hurricane evacuees can get free housing from Airbnb

Airbnb is offering free housing for Hurricane Dorian evacuees and disaster relief workers as part of it’s “Open Homes Program.” More than 800 Airbnb hosts are opening their doors in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina through September 16th.

Airbnb started the program back in 2012 following Hurricane Sandy and it’s only grown since then. Hosts volunteer to list their properties and the number of available listings is expected to increase as Dorian makes its way to the U.S. and most of them are out of the hurricane’s projected path.

Here's how you can find a home.
