Thursday August 24th, 2017 at the Township Auditorium

The Hearts & Hands Disaster Recovery (HHDR) along with 97.5 WCOS presents Hearts & Hands Harmony, a South Carolina Benefit Concert featuring MONTGOMERY GENTRY with guests The Grascals.

The Hearts & Hands Harmony South Carolina Benefit Concert is a celebration of the 5-year anniversary of the agency and an opportunity to raise awareness and much needed funding for the residents of South Carolina who are still trying to recover from the losses they suffered due to the October 2015 Flood. In the last year HHDR has assisted more than 6,000 South Carolina residents with their flood recovery efforts while thousands more await much needed flood relief. Racing Aces Marketing and HHDR will hold a press conference on Friday July 28th at 9:30 a.m. to announce the benefit concert. The press conference will be held at the Columbia Township Auditorium located at 1703 Taylor Street, Columbia, South Carolina. Upon arrival please proceed to the lobby. The charity concert will take place Thursday, August 24th, 2017. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with performances beginning at 6:30 p.m. Drinks, food, and merchandise will be available to purchase before the show and throughout the evening. A silent auction will be held and items up for bid include an 8-day hunting safari trip, a taste of Tuscany with a private casa for four people, and a trip for two to the American Music Awards. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.  All members of the press who are interested in covering the event should contact Doug Ames at 803-467-2708. Hearts & Hands Disaster Recovery is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide disaster impacted communities with innovative programs to address the unmet needs of residents. What started 5 years ago as an organization providing inexpensive mold remediation has evolved into a full-scale disaster relief organization that provides Disaster Case Management, Mold Remediation, Temporary Housing, and Home Repairs to residents in need. According to Falon Alo, Executive Director of HHDR, “The concert is a celebration of all the dedication and hard work of Hearts & Hands Disaster Recovery in our first 5 years of operation and an incredible opportunity to raise awareness and the much-needed support for the victims of the flood. The funding will go towards remaining repair and rebuild projects, temporary housing, and unmet needs such as household appliances and furniture. One of the largest factors with the event is involving the local community because that is where the devastation has happened. Citizens helping citizens will always play a big role in recovery as all disasters are local. We could think of nothing else for our anniversary than to continue to support our clients to return to a safe, sanitary, and secure environment.” For more information about HHDR and this event please visit www.hhdr.ngo
