Country singer Josh Ross is already a big star in his native Canada; six straight Top 5 country hits in the Great White North, and now he's trying to break through in the American market. Two weekends ago, Ross proclaimed his love for the US while on stage at the Tailgate N’ Tallboys festival in Bloomington, Illinois. In the midst of his set, Ross waved an American flag while saying, "Fun fact real quick, I’m Canadian. You want to know the best fun fact? I moved to the best [ ] country in the world and I love America." The crowd loved it...but the folks back home, not so much. Ross got so much flack about it on social media, he felt the need to address it. "I’m sorry to anybody who’s offended by what I said. I’m grateful I get to tour all over the world and I feel like I’m always representing Canada no matter where I go...half my family lives in Canada, the other half is here in the U.S. and I’m as proud of establishing myself in the U.S. as I am being Canadian." Judging by the comments under his video, his fellow Canadians aren't quite ready to forgive him.
