The teacher known as "Mr. G" to his students, has spent close to 20 years teaching special needs students in West Valley, Arizona. Due to a serious health issue that required a partial leg amputation, he recently had to stop working, which put him in a difficult financial situation.,
Kim and Karin, mothers of two of his former students, praised Mr. G's unconditional love and the positive impact he’s had on their sons, Preston and Spencer. Preston & Spencer graduated years ago but still like to spend time with their former teacher.
Preston & Spencer credit Mr G with helping develop them to the point where they could get jobs and live on their own. They wanted to help Mr G and between the 2 of them decided they could donate $1000. Their parents each pitched in 2 grand and together they presented Mr G with a $5-thousand check. Mr. G was visibly moved by the gesture and expressed his deep love for his students and his passion for helping people with special needs.
