ESPN sent out an email to members of the press yesterday discussing what will be happening at Gamecock Park Saturday morning for ESPN College GameDay.
The thing that caught a lot our attention was Hootie in the House – Longtime GameDay supporter, USC alum and famed musician Darius Rucker – who served as guest picker in Sept. 2023 when South Carolina faced UNC in Charlotte – will join the show and offer a special performance from his alma mater.
They don't tell us what time but the show is only out in the park from 9-11. At 11 it moves into Williams Brice, so we're assuming the Darius performance will happen between 9-11. Gamecock Park is directly across the street from Williams-Brice on the Bluff Rd side, will open at 6:30 AM for fans to start gathering for best spots to watch.
