Ozempic created a shot featuring Semaglutide that hey claimed could drop your body weight by 10% in 6 months. The manufacturer then produced a similar shot with more semaglutide in it called Wegovy that could drop 12 percent in 6 months.
Now they've launched a new diet pill might be able to reduce body weight by 13-percent after only three months. The European Association for the Study of Diabetes announced its findings yesterday on a new daily weight loss pill from Novo Nordisk, the maker of Ozempic and Wegovy. Early trials show the rate of weight loss appears to be more rapid than what's been reported from other drugs. The pill has yet to be tested in a head-to-head trial against existing weight-loss drugs, and the results of the trials have yet to be published in a peer-reviewed journal.
