Students at James Madison High School in Vienna, Virginia love their custodian, Francis Apraku.
Originally from Ghana, Francis moved to the U.S. back in 2013 looking for a better life for his 2 kids. They are both currently in college. Francis works hard and sacrifices a lot for his family. However all of that doesn't stop him from checking in on the students. Student Bennett Hibshman says; "Ever since we met Francis, he has been super kind and friendly, and sometimes even says prayers for us".
Francis reminds them how lucky they are to live in the U.S. and how his parents and siblings still live in Ghana hoping for an opportunity to become a U.S. citizen. Bennett and some of his friends decided they wanted to do something special for Francis. They donated their own money to a pot but also launched a go fund me account.

They hadn't anticipated their hometown getting so active with this campaign. Everyone seemed to know about it but also made sure to not tip Francis off. So well before graduation they were able to present Francis with a used Jeep Wrangler.
