How Much Money And Time Do We Invest In Our Favorite Teams

According to the poll of 2-thousand U.S. sports fans:

  • They watch 120 games a year, on average.
  • When it comes to the games they see in person, fans usually get to see three live wins and two losses a year.
  • They spend an average of $879.40 a year on tickets to live games, concessions, collectibles, apparel, memorabilia and PPV..
  • Fans estimate they’ve seen five one-of-a-kind, “miracle” sports wins over the years, and 74% say watching their favorite team win a big game in person is a favorite memory.
  • If their team loses, 39% feel more sensitive than usual, while 14% say they generally enjoy life less.
