Last week he working out at the YMCA in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Back in the locker room he heard some yelling. Rather then waiting for the desk employees to hear it and react he ran into the room to see a 25 year old attacking an 80 year old man.

According to Click On Detroit Braylen says it was an argument about how loud the music was.

Edwards rushed to see what was happening and witnessed the 25 year old had the 80 year old on the ground.

"And then I see the guy for what I was thinking was reaching for a phone underneath the victim grabs the back of the victim’s head by the hair, and he was about to slam it down on the counter,”

Braylon rushed over to knock the younger man off of him. According to the police Braylon probably saved the elderly mans life.

“I didn’t know it was that serious, I mean the victim probably had a serious concussion by nature but It wasn’t until I talked to the detective Jacobs down in Farmington who told me that if I didn’t step in he wouldn't have survived but at the end of the day that’s what we should all do.”

The 25-year-old assailant quickly sized up that he was no match for Braylon and sprinted from the gym.

Witnesses told police his name and was arrested at his home and remains in custody.
