An Amazing Christmas Miracle For This Family

In May of 2021 a woman from Mali successfully birthed nonuplets, that's NINE babies at the same time. That set a Guinness World Record for the most children ever delivered in a single birth to survive. The government of Mali chose to send Halima Cissé to Morocco to receive specialized care and she stayed there for the birth and for continued care for her five girls and four boys.

The babies spent months in the hospital before moving into a nearby apartment while they received continued care from the clinic where they were born. The nonuplets celebrated their first birthdays in Morocco earlier this year and then this week they were finally cleared to go home to Mali.

The family is grateful for the help they’ve received in caring for their babies and is glad to have them back home finally. The babies’ father Abdelkader Arby Malian Army officer, said: ‘They all have very different characters. ‘Some are quiet, while others make more noise and cry a lot. Some want to be picked up all the time. They are all very different, which is entirely normal.

We are so blessed to spend the holidays together at our home in Mali.
