Woman's Dog Smells Cancer In Her And Saves Her Life

Tanya Hibberd was 46 years old when her dog started behaving strangely. Her husky Sapphire became overly attentive and constantly pawed at Tanya’s breast. When the dog wouldn't stop she decided to have herself checked., Hibberd who has a family history with went to the doctor and they indeed found a cancerous lump. Tanya was diagnosed with the rare triple-negative breast cancer. (TNBC) is a faster-growing type of breast cancer.

The lump was 3 cm when discovered and had already grown to 5 cm by the time she started chemo

Today Tanya is 50 and cancer free for several years.

Now she is stressing the need for pet owners to pay attention to their furry pals’ when they get more attentive than normal. She tells the Daily Mail “I would just say that if you have a dog or pet that generally only wants cuddles on their terms and then they start taking an actual interest in you then maybe they are trying to tell you something.”
