In 2016 Tatiana Akhmedov, was awarded the largest divorce settlement in history when she won $453 million from her billionaire ex. This divorce took more twice as long to settle as their 7 year marriage from 1993-2000. He was caught in 2000 having an affair with a beauty queen half his age.
She was back in court yesterday because she said she would have gone for more if millions hadn't been hidden on her ex's balance sheet...by her son.
She said her son, 28 year old Temur Akhmedov, hid things like a super yacht, parts of the art collection and millions in stocks. The Judge agreed and has ordered Temur to pay his mother 104 million!
Judge Gwynneth Knowles wrote in her decision, "All happy families are alike, each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. With apologies to Tolstoy, the Akhmedov family is one of the unhappiest ever to have appeared in my courtroom".
