General Motors says it "aspires" to have an all-electric vehicle lineup by 2040.
GM also said yesterday that it is aiming for all of its cars, light trucks, and SUVs to be zero-emission by 2035. A GM spokesman said the company's global plan for zero-emission vehicles includes heavy-duty pickups by 2040.
Currently only 3 percent of the vehicles in the world are electric and 2 percent in America.
As for being carbon neutral, the company is also shooting for 2040.
President Biden's climate czar, John Kerry, confusingly admitted this week that even if the entire nation of America was carbon neutral it wouldn't have any effect on the environment.
