A recent SC Lottery winner who is remaining anonymous tells the agency that when he checked his ticket just before going to bed he was shocked to see that he had won $125,000! He wanted to tell his wife but figured she would be upset if he woke her up. "If it had been a million or more I probably would have woke her". He says she was surprised when he showed her in the morning not only because he had won but that because he even played. "She's usually the only one in our family who plays the lottery". She agreed with his decision that the news could wait till she woke.
