A Tallahassee Florida couple has been saving their pocket change for years! Gary and Joan Stout have been collecting their coins in a five-gallon water jug for the last five years and they planned to let their six grandkids split it when it was full.
However they felt like God was telling them to donate that money to help those in need. And they had built up a nice sum, when all the coins were counted, they had $2,030.74. The Stouts donated the water jug money to The Salvation Army.
Their grandkids were thrilled to see the impact the money was going to have in their community and plan to make annual donations themselves.
