New App Says It Can Translate Cat's Meow Into English

What if your cat could talk to you? An app says it can. BBC reports that an app called MeowTalk was developed by a company headed up by one of the engineers who developed the Alexa app. According to the apps website the app works by recording the cat’s meows and the cat's owner labels the translation of the ones it already knows like I'm hungry, or I want to get picked up, then creates an artificial intelligence database. After it knows a few of the cat's meows it will then be able to tell you what it's saying with other meows. The end goal is to have the app sync with a smart collar that will translate the meows.
