American's spend a lot of time watching TV. according to this study we will watch 78,000 hours of TV in our lifetime. That includes over 3600 movies on TV, and 11,000 different TV series! And this study was done just before COVID quarantines started so it's probably even more now!
But what shocked me even more was how much time we spend looking for stuff to watch. It's because there are so many options today compared to pre internet streaming which has more than tripled our choices from just cable TV. 2943 hours of the average American's life is spent searching for shows! If you look at it like a 40 hour work week, that's 73 weeks of your life spent looking for shows!
