The case against Joe Biden peddling influence for money has been building for weeks after the NY Post broke the story that the FBI was in possession of his son Hunter's laptop. The screenshots of emails indicate that while Joe was Vice President he entered into an agreement with several businessmen and his brother and Hunter to influence American policy in the Ukraine, China and Russia. VP Biden would receive 10% of the money first from Hunter and then from his brother James.
This story has not been proven and is still only accusations at this point but on Tuesday the story took a big leap forward in credibility as one of the men involved, Tony Bobulinski, went on the record on the Tucker Carlson show to confirm the authenticity of those emails and he added to the story by playing audio of a call between him and another one of the men involved, Rob Walker, where Tony is upset that Congressman Adam Schiff is claiming Tony is a Russian asset spreading disinformation. Tony is telling Rob “If he doesn’t come out, on record, I am providing the facts to the media". Rob acknowledges how damning those facts are by replying; “Ah, Tony, you’re just going to bury all of us, man!"
Last night Tucker Carlson reported that he had more documents that were even worse news for the Democratic nominee. But as they were being shipped to him they were stolen. "The Biden documents never arrived. It was trackable till 3:35 in the morning and then it stops. We received word from the company that the package had been found opened with the contents missing."
This now starts to feel like Watergate. Most Americans never heard of Watergate till years into the investigation. The break in and arrests happened in June of 1972. In September indictments were brought against President Nixon aides but it barely was mentioned in the press. Nixon was kept safe from the scandal through the election in November. It continued to heat up in January of 1973 when the 5 burglars were convicted. In February Congress launched their own investigation. It wasn't till August of 1974 that scandal had so much attention that Nixon resigned.
