Natalie Crowe and Austin Tatman became best friends as toddlers in Ocala, Florida. They were inseparable in preschool, but then Natalie’s family moved 1,000 miles away to Connecticut and the besties didn’t stay in touch. After 12 years without any contact, Natalie found an old address book with Austin’s information, so she decided to look him up on Facebook.
The old pals immediately started messaging and sharing memories as they reconnected. They eventually met up in person and Natalie says she realized he was her “soulmate” and they started a long distance relationship. Natalie said "On our second date, the song "My Old Friend" by Tim McGraw played on the radio. The song was really key to our relationship. It was so spot on to our journey."
The couple went to each other’s proms and stayed together for years, with Austin finally popping the question to his childhood BFF. Now in their 20s, they have made it official and gotten married, 22 years after preschool.
