Traveling with little kids can be a challenge, especially when they decide to have a meltdown just as your flight is taking off. So when a Southwest Airlines flight attendant saw an exhausted mom dealing with that situation, she was happy to lend a hand and calm that baby down.
Savannah Blum was on a flight from Las Vegas to Reno when her 19-month-old daughter, Brittain, reached her breaking point and started crying. Mom did her best to console her, but a flight attendant named Jessica came over to the overwhelmed mother and said, “Come here, baby. I got her, Mama. You go sit down.”
Jessica held the toddler and walked up and down the aisle, closing overhead bins and speaking in a soothing voice to Brittain. It worked and soon the baby was content and blowing kisses to fellow passengers, and everyone had a good flight after that.
