During a several hours-long flight delay, a pilot on a Mesa Airlines flight knew just how to keep his plane full of passengers happy - by surprising them all with a free lunch. One of those lucky fliers,Sam Walker, praised the captain of the flight , which was operated by United Express.
"We’re currently 2.5 hours into a delay leaving Tulsa on @united and our Captain Matthew just ordered every single person on the plane lunch from Fat Guys Burger Bar," Walker tweeted. "Good people and customer service do still exist!"
They may have been four hours and 41 minutes late leaving Tulsa, Oklahoma on route to Houston, but the passengers were well fed. A rep from United replied to Walker’s tweet, saying they were “glad to hear” crew members took care of them.
