Boy spends half his life helping others experience Christmas

A nine-year-old boy from Washington, Pennsylvania has been helping others at Christmas for almost half his life. In the last three years, Colby Jeffrey has collected over 2,500 toys for children in need and he’s at it again.

Colby has been working on his toy drive since he was five when he learned that some kids don’t get anything for Christmas. He’s committed to helping those less fortunate enjoy the holiday and asks people to help him help others by donating new, unwrapped toys he’ll be donating to Toys for Tots.

“It's always been about the kids and helping kids have presents on Christmas,” says Kristin Bergman, Colby’s mother. “They deserve to get something from their parents on Christmas. Every child deserves something.” Here's Colby's Facebook page to get more info
