The Las Vegas Strip is in a state of chaos at this morning. This is now the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
At least two Las Vegas police officers have been shot and at least 50 concert goers are dead. At least 400 were injured. A sniper was on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay resort, which overlooks an outdoor concert venue. There were an estimated 22,000 people in attendance.
Jason Aldean was the final performer of the Route 91 Harvest Music festival. As he was performing his final song "When She Says Baby", shots from an automatic weapon rang out. Here's video of that very moment.
Las Vegas SWAT detonated an explosive device outside of the room where the shooter was. Then entered the room and shot him dead. Police say if you have a loved one in Vegas for the show, and haven't been able to contact them, you can call 866-535-5654
While no motive has been given, the shooter is being identified as Stephen Craig Paddock a 64 year old resident of Mesquite NV. Police now have in custody a woman who has lived with him since January. Her name is Marilou Danley. Her Linkedin profile says she has worked as a hostess in Vegas. We're not sure if this is related but here is an interview with a woman who was at the concert.

Jake Owen was on stage as well and tells NBC News what he saw. He estimates the shots continued for about 10 minutes.
