Children's hospital overwhelmed by response to their Lego emergency

When a pediatric cancer hospital in Italy asked supporters for help with an unusual request, they were thrilled by the response. The Sant'Orsola hospital in Bologna needed new Legos for their young patients and reached out to their Facebook followers for help.

“We have a Lego emergency” director Francesca Testoni began her cry for help. “At any age building a car, robot, or space shuttle is always a wonderful way to pass the time and allow the spirit to travel. Can you help us?”

And within three days, the hospital received 500 boxes of new Legos! "What a pleasure to see a child able to choose and give him what he wants," they wrote in response. “Thank you world".
