Our friend Chad Holbrook resigned as Head Coach of Gamecock Baseball last night. He released a statement “I want to thank our fans, players, coaching staff and everyone that touched Carolina baseball. This will always be a special place for me and my family. Wearing that jersey, being a part of two national championships, and meeting so many great people are things I will always treasure. I will always be a Gamecock! At the end of the day, this was the best decision for us. I wish Coach Tanner and this program I love so much nothing but the best. Forever to Thee!”
Holbrook leaves after 5 seasons with a record of 200 wins, 106 losses and 2 Super Regional appearances. The Holbrook's charity to help kids fight terminal illnesses is called the Win Anyway Foundation. We are still partnering with them to host a fundraising concert with Old Dominion Friday October 6th at the Township. Get your tickets here.
