Hillary Clinton spoke yesterday at the Code Conference in California and announced "I take responsibility for every decision I made, but that's not why I lost."
So what was the reason? She says her use of a private email server was covered like it was "the biggest scandal since Lord knows when. That was the biggest nothing burger ever"! And when she talked about how the email was used against her, she pulled no punches. She offered, “The Russians, in my opinion, and based on the intel and counterintel people I've talked to, could not have known how best to weaponize that information unless they had been guided...by Americans.”
"That really influenced the information people were relying on. If you look at Facebook the vast majority of the news items posted were fake. They were connected to, as we now know, the 1000 Russian agents... They were connected to the bots. It was such a new experience.
No one knew what she was talking about. What Russian agents? What bots?
But she didn’t save her ire for her opponents – Clinton also spoke about the Democratic National Committee's data tracking during the campaign. She said that she “inherited nothing“ from the DNC when she was named the party's nominee and that the organization was nearly bankrupt. “It was bankrupt. It was on the verge of insolvency. I had to inject money into the [DNC] for it to keep going. Its data was mediocre to poor.”
