A panned commercial is coming back to haunt… and hurt…some people.
Police in Portland, Oregon say they were assaulted with full cans of Pepsi during violent May Day protests Monday. Before things got out of control, one protester tried to give an officer a can of Pepsi, like in the widely-mocked and now pulled soda ad where Kendall Jenner brings police and protesters together. Before long the Pepsi cans started flying, hitting at least one medic. Armored riot cops went on to shut down the rally.
