Garth Brooks really does care about his fans. The singer reportedly sent a care package to a man who was injured on his way to one of Garth’s shows.
Back in February, Jake Stroud flipped over his vehicle on the way to pick up his girlfriend for one of Garth’s shows in Memphis, and wound up with two broken bones in his arm and another in his thigh.
Jake’s family and friends took to social media to try and get Garth’s attention, hoping he could do something to lift Jake’s spirits, and apparently they were successful. Garth was eventually informed about the fan’s condition and he sent him a box filled with T-shirts, hats, and other signed memorabilia.
“I was just shocked at as many things as he sent me,” Stroud told KNTV. “He didn’t have to do anything for me. I was just going to his concert. Shows what kind of person he is.”
