An 89 year old WWII vet checked one of his items off his bucket list yesterday when he got to rub Howard's Rock. The famous rock that all Clemson players rub before running down the hill to start every home game since 1973. Levis Sams had this special day arranged by Pruitt-Health Hospice with help from Clemson University, Medshore and Morningside of Anderson.
I love his smile when he touches it for the first time. Below you'll see a video of a Clemson ROTC cadet who starts crying while she shakes Levi's hand. It is really special to see him thank her for her "gift to all of us".
