A kitten in Pennsylvania is lucky to be alive after surviving a 100‑mile road trip tucked inside the grill of a car. The driver had stopped in Breezewood during a trip from Maryland — and that’s when police believe the kitten climbed in. It wasn’t until the next morning that the driver heard meowing and called for help.
Kennedy Township officers and road crew workers teamed up to pull the tiny stowaway from underneath the vehicle. The kitten — now nicknamed “Breezy” — was miraculously unharmed. Police say several people along the route had warned the driver about a kitten nearby, but it was never spotted. Breezy is now being fostered by a neighbor and may soon be up for adoption.
