Eddie Murphy To Remake A Classic Comedy Film

The comedian is set to tackle the iconic role of Inspector Clouseau in a new “Pink Panther” movie. 

Murphy told Al Roker on “Today” that he had initially “planned on slowing down, and things just happened.”

Murphy spilled that he took the “Pink Panther” role to Roker’s surprise because it’s a French role. Eddie responded with “Maybe. Well, he has to be French, but he could also be Haitian. I will tell you, he’s Black. He’s Black, for sure.” There’s no word on a release date.
