Man Says God Tested Him And He Received A Big Reward

On April 30, 2025, a NJ man was in the Phillipsburg Paul Mart gas station. He was there to buy a scratch off ticket. According to the NJ lottery the store security footage shows him walking up to the counter and before getting the attendant's attention he spotted a $100 bill. He assumed it had either been left there accidently by the last customer or perhaps the clerk had made change for someone and left it there by mistake. He asked the clerk if he had an envelope so he could put it in there for the lost & found. Once he did that he bought his scratch off ticket. He scratched it off in amazement. He hit the jackpot! $1,000,000!

“I thought the ticket wasn’t activated, but the clerk said ‘you have the golden ticket,’” the player said while visiting the NJ Lottery’s offices to claim the prize. “I started crying and shaking. I thought if I had taken that $100 bill, I would have felt guilty and I would have left there and never bought the ticket. I just truly believe it was a test from God.”
