41 year old Brieonna Cassell, has been missing since last Wednesday. Her phone had been dead since she left work so there was no tower pings to help with the search. There were no accidents, no reports of a kidnapping incident. No one believed the mother of 3 would have abandoned her kids or committed suicide. Police asked for volunteers to search her route home. No one saw anything. After a few days her friends and family were befuddled but refused to give up hope. They kept searching day after day walking and re walking the area they thought she should have been.
6 days into it her car was found about a quarter mile off the road at the bottom of a 20 foot deep hill in a stream. The searchers were very afraid of what they would find when they got down there.
Amazingly she was alert and alive.
Brieonna had fallen asleep and woke up as the car was off the road. She swerved through several trees and before she could stop skidded over the embankment. She broke both her legs. The only good news was she was in a brook so she was able to pull her sweater off and stick it out the window in order to stay hydrated.
