Their 4 year old son wanted a cell phone like his older siblings so he could call them and his grandparents. His parents found one of their old phones that didn't have internet and gave it to him. The boy, named Bennett saw an emergency button on the phone and decided he had an emergency so he pushed it. According to the UPI that 911 call was answered by a stunned operator who asked "what is your emergency" heard Bennett say "doughnuts".
The Moore Oklahoma PD posted to their Facebook page the audio.
The operator says "your emergency is doughnuts"?
Bennett "Emergency doughnuts. I want doughnuts".
Operator: "Well are you going to share your doughnuts"?
Bennett: "I'm talking mommy"
Operator: "Oh you're talking to your mommy"?
Bennett: "In my room. Look emergency doughnuts".
Operator: "Hello"
Bennett: "Emergency doughnuts"
Operator: "Can I talk to your mommy"?
Bennett: "Emergency doughnuts. Bye! Have a good day".
Operator: "I want some doughnuts. Will you share"?
Bennett: "No I'm not".
Operator: "You're not? Can I please talk to your mom"?
Bennett: "Emergency doughnuts". He then hung up
Bennett's folks were shocked when a police officer arrived at their home with a dozen doughnuts and asked to speak with their young son.
