Delivery Driver Walks Delivery To Cancer Patient After Accident

KFSM-TV has the story of Eduardo Garcia, a driver who delivers your Walmart order to your home in Arkansas. Brooke Kochel had ordered some heaters during the snowstorm that shook the South this week.

A few hours later she received a call from Eduardo and she asked if he was lost. Eduardo said, 'I'm actually in a ditch. I'm not gonna be able to make it". Brooke felt horrible about it and profoundly apologized and said she felt horrible about ordering a delivery in a snowstorm, but realized that their heating wasn't sufficient to keep their room warm where her husband who is battling cancer was shivering under several blankets.

Eduardo said I'll walk to you with the heaters. Brooke was blown away by the offer! When she received the heaters, she wanted to give Eduardo a big tip but the app doesn't allow you to tip the drivers. Eduardo said please don't worry about it, you have enough to worry about with your husband,

Brooke then posted about Eduardo on social media and mentioned she thought his nickname was Shorty, One of her followers new Shorty and tagged him. Eduardo messaged her and she said she really wanted to give him some cash for his efforts. "He's like, 'No, no, no, that's not happening'," Brooke shared. "He said, 'I've gone through hard things in my life, and you know, at this moment, I was able to do something for someone else. He said, 'Okay, I will do this, if you promise me, I can meet your husband and our families can meet and that we will stay friends and that we can walk through this journey with you'".
