Lincoln Heights, Ohio a suburb of Cincinnati was hammered with almost a foot of snow storm Monday. WCPO-TV channel 9 reports that 68 year old Valerie Franklin was staring out her window at the ton of snow that needed to be shoveled off her sidewalk and driveway in accordance with local law, and said "Lord if you're real, I need a miracle right now".
At that same time a 16 year old named James Cooper was calling some of his friends. "I was thinking a lot of folks kind of got trapped inside, and it's going to get really cold and the weather seems like the ice and the snow (are) not going anywhere. We have a lot of seniors in our community, so the young folks within the community want to go out, make sure that we shoveled out their driveways."
The young men ended up shoveling 18 homes Tuesday including Valerie's. All she could say was "thank you guys. And God I know you did this and I'm so thankful".
