Columbia News Anchor Arrested After Political Argument Turns Violent

In Sioux Falls North Dakota, TV station KSFY is reporting that Kamie Jo Roesler, was arrested Sunday afternoon and charged with aggravated assault. Kamie has been the morning anchor on WIS TV since September last year according to her bio. She had come here from KSFY.

According to police report that 28 year old Kamie was at a home in the 1100 block of N. Prairie Avenue in Sioux Falls arguing about politics with a 32 year old man when she allegedly hit him in the head with a beer bottle. The report doesn't say if it was empty or full. My guess is it was empty which is why she was becoming irritable.

WIS told McClatchy News that they were aware of her arrest but had no further comment.
