Myrtle Beach Online reports that Horry County is now outpacing the entire state of SC! Yesterday another 120 cases in Horry County compared to the 2nd worst county Greenville who had 77 cases and Richland in 3rd with 57 cases.
Hospital occupancy statewide is about 70 percent with over 3,000 beds still available. South Carolina has about 600 people in the hospital being treated for COVID19
For Horry County to be getting so many new cases is disappointing but not surprising as many people who are trying to escape quarantine restrictions and colder weather up north have come to the Myrtle Beach area the past month.
