Michael Jordan's Juicy Love Letter To His Mistress Auctioned Off

Michael Jordan was apparently cheating on his first wife literally as they were getting married. He proposed to Juanita on December 31, 1987 while she was pregnant with their first child Jeffrey. On September 2, 1989 he finally married Juanita when their son was 10 months old. In December of 1989 Michael wrote a 20 page love letter to actress Amy Hunter. Yes 20 pages!

I have never heard of Amy and from the looks of her Wikipedia page you probably haven't either. Her biggest role may have been "warrior woman" in the Scorpion King movie from 2002. I linked a youtube video of her at the bottom of this post. The description of the video is: Amy Hunter is hilarious as a guest star on Half and Half. You can't take your eyes off of her as we watch her steal this scene! What a talent! That was posted by...Amy Hunter! LOL!

The letter sold originally in 2014 for $2500 according to the NY Post. But thanks to the "Last Dance" MJ interest is at an all time high so the new owner put it up for auction Sunday and got $25,000! It doesn't say if the original seller was the scene stealer Amy Hunter, but I would imagine it was.

As for the contents, it's hard to figure out what he is trying to accomplish. Maybe friends with benefits? It sounds like he's apologizing for sleeping with other women and yet professes his love for his wife. “Amy, sometimes I am the most selfish person on this earth because for one whole year all I thought about was Michael. I admit I made a mistake, but found it difficult to change it. Let’s say I do change the mistake. You would not believe the problems we would encounter. It is unthinkable. We wouldn‘t have a pleasant relationship or a private one. Our business up for opinions by the whole world. This is a pressure I can’t live with. Amy, if I was Michael Jordan, the ordinary man with a 9 to 5 job, then it wouldn’t be hard to admit my mistake. But instead, I am the Michael Jordan who is put on the pedestal and viewed to be the perfect role model. A lot of people, not just kids, but whole families. Can you imagine the responsibilities I have to deal with. Not to mention a baby by a lady who I have loved for 3 1/2 years.
