Southern families having more fun during quarantine than other parts of US

As everyone practices social distancing, an interesting trend in the South is happening. Christmas is being brought back.

Some families are spending time putting up their trees again, but more are stringing outside lights. One Twitter parent shared "My youngest son was bored today and said, 'can we put Christmas lights on our tree outside to cheer us up?’ Great idea buddy. Lights are on tonight as a sign of hope and the sweet mind of my 10 year old."

Even whole towns are getting into the spirit. Watson Louisiana has declared it a town celebration of Christmas lights!

Now it's spreading to the rest of the country. Maybe it’s time to get your lights out!
