A U.K. couple who tied the knot way back in 1985 are just getting to see pictures from their wedding, and it’s all thanks to the kindness of a stranger. Mick and Tracey Hepworth were devastated when thieves stole her cousin’s purse. That's because her cousin was the only photographer of the event and her camera with all of their wedding photos was in the purse
Unbeknownst to any of them the thief cleaned out the cash and then dropped the purse in an alley. Angie McHale happened to find that purse which had no ID in it but thought the film in the camera may help her find the owner. So she paid to have them developed but didn't recognize anyone. She's not sure why but she held on to those pictures. It was the 80's and she had no way of tracking down the people in them. She moved 3 times since then but dutifully moved them each time. She recently moved a fourth time and discovered the photos again in a drawer and posted them to Facebook to see if anyone could help. Within hours, she was put in touch with the Hepworths and was able to reunite them with their wedding photos.
“It was lovely to see such happy memories of a wonderful day,” Tracey says.
