Florida Georgia Line Joins Justin Bieber On Country Remix Of 'Yummy'

Florida Georgia Line has teamed up with Justin Bieber for a "country remix" of the pop star's hit single, "Yummy." The new track officially dropped on Wednesday morning (February 19).

The first half of the remix, performed by Bieber, stays the same as the original for the most part. Florida Georgia Line comes in for the second half of the song leading with Tyler Hubbard's signature 'Yeah, baby," followed by a new verse.

"Let me take it to the country / We can call it home cookin' / I'm your chicken, you're my dumplin'," the duo sings. "We say grace, I say thanks / For my baby and this drink / Let me slide on over, girl, and get a taste."

Hubbard, Brian Kelley and Bieber then come together for a final verse of "Yummy." Florida Georgia Line teased the collaboration on February 9 posting silent video posted to social media. The clip shows Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley dancing around in the studio as they listen to their new track.

"Y’ALL!!!!!" they captioned an Instagram post. "Start your countdown! On this fine Sunday morning we can officially say we are 10 DAYS AWAY from y’all hearing thissssssssss fresh new music! Dropping Feb 19th #yummycountryremix #itsreallyhappening @justinbieber."

The original "Yummy" is Bieber's lead single off his new album, Changes, released on Valentine's Day. The pop star has also recently collaborated with another country duo, Dan + Shay on their hit song, "10,000 Hours."

Florida Georgia Line has been busy in the studio working on their fifth studio album expected in 2020. The forthcoming record will follow up 2019's Can't Say I Ain't Country, released in February of 2019. "Simple" was the first single released from the album, followed by "Talk It Out Of You" and their latest, "Blessings."

This summer Florida Georgia Line will hit the road for Kenny Chesney's massive "Chillaxification Tour," which they call "a bucket list moment."

"We both grew up listening to Kenny as kids, and obviously he's a legend but still doing it at a great level, at a high level," Kelley says, adding, "And he's somebody that we've been learning from; we want to learn more from. He's been doing stadiums for like 15 or 20 years, which is crazy when you think about it."

The tour will kick off on April 18 in Arlington, Texas at AT&T Stadium, with the first amphitheater show a few weeks later on May 7 in West Palm Beach, Florida. For a full list of tour dates go here. Tickets for the tour are available now.
