Thursday, December 5 from 6am – 5:30pm at First Baptist Church in Columbia is the 21st Annual Share Your Holiday Food Drive for Harvest Hope Food Bank. We'll be broadcasting live from the corner of Sumter and Washington Streets with our friends from WACH FOX.
Your non perishable food item or cash donation will benefit the Harvest Hope Food Bank in the Midlands, Florence and Greenville to aid in their fight against hunger. The Share Your Holiday Food Drive for Harvest Hope Food Bank began in 1998 and is now the state's largest annual food drive! There's a lot of people depending on this food drive!
The goal of the campaign is to fill the food bank warehouses for the holidays and for the cold months ahead to benefit in need and underprivileged families and individuals.
Share Your Holiday will be hosting a Food Truck Rodeo the day of the event, and a portion of the proceeds from all food sales will go to Harvest Hope. Food trucks will be open from 11am to 2pm. They include: “Casey’s Big Dawg BBQ,” “The Belgian Waffle Truck,” and “Pawley’s Front Porch.” So stop by and have lunch with us! Plus Santa usually makes a visit!
