While learning about colorblindness in class, a severely colorblind kid got to see all the colors of the rainbow, thanks to some special eyeglasses.Jonathan Jones, a 12-year-old from Minnesota, got to try out his severely colorblind principal’s special glasses and being able to see colors for the first time was so overwhelming, he burst into tears.
In a video shared to Twitter by his brother Ben, Jonathan puts on the eyewear and looks a little surprised before his emotions take over. The video has gone viral and a Go Fund Me Page was set up to raise $350 to buy Jonathan his own pair of the glasses has now raised $25,000 and counting! The family has pledged to donate the rest of the funds to a foundation who purchases colorblind glasses for those who can’t afford them.”
