Amazon says it's pulled an offensive T-shirt from their site, but as of 11 AM Monday it's still here. Perhaps they meant they have pulled the children's version.
The shirt in question, sold by OnlyBabyCare, was emblazoned with the phrase “Daddy’s Little Slut,” and while it’s been for sale on the site since June, it only recently went viral on social media, causing the uproar that got it pulled. Even more shocking than just the phrase, the description of the T-Shirt read it was “suitable” for “playing outside, birthday party, baby shower, baptism,” and more.
Following a ton of social media backlash, Amazon pulled the shirt, explaining, “All sellers must follow our selling guidelines and those who do not will be subject to action including potential removal of their account. The product in question is no longer available.”
